The Groove is Back!

Thanks to my CCS summer course, I’m getting back in the comic making groove. It’s been ages since I’ve worked on a comic I had planned to completion, so this course is definitely helping!

I’m rebooting a short comic I made over a year ago. To do the things I hadn’t managed to first time time around, clean up the art, and boost up the writing. To sound and flow better than before.

Hand Lettering Practice #1

I haven’t been very happy with my handwriting for a while, so I’ve decided to try and fix it.

When I mentioned it to some relatives, they suggested I try learning/practicing calligraphy to achieve that. I didn’t do it for a long while, then I found a cute little kit titled “Hand Lettering Art Pack: A Guide to Modern Lettering, Calligraphy, and Art Techniques” by Lisa Engelbrecht.

So I’ve decided to give it a shot! I’ll keep you all posted as I work.
