I have nothing against them, but I *really* don't like trying to make them. As a new Comicer, I just don't feel safe enough to try my hand at them. I don't handle confrontation well, even over the internet, and getting pageviews from people trying to chew me out?

I'd rather people look at my comics because they can relate to them or think they're funny, not because they want to fight me.
