It's weird when I look back at how uncomfortable I used to be about dressing how I wanted or wearing more "Feminine" clothing. I used to constantly think I wasn't "pretty" enough to go around in dresses and skirts or to wear make-up. That I wasn't "good-looking" enough to people around me. That I looked "plain".
But now that I'm older and away from school, I finally feel comfortable in myself. I finally feel comfortable about wearing close-fitting clothes like leggings and fitted t-shirts. About wearing skirts when I go out. About wearing dresses for more than just special occasions.
It's a very freeing feeling.
